The Troubadour took a survey of Franciscan University students concerning recent events that have been prominent in the news during the past two weeks. Take a look to see how they answered, and see if you can answer it correctly!

 

Who is Eric Holder? What big news was announced about him this past week?

Only three out of 20 students got this answer correct.

What big vote took place in Scotland during the past few weeks and what was the outcome?

Thirteen out of 20 students got this answer correct.

[spoiler title=’Click here to see the answer:’ collapse_link=’true’]On September 19, Scotland took a vote as to whether or not to remain in the European Union and to become independent from Britain. Much to the world’s surprise, they voted ‘no’ for independence and remain a member of the European Union. The vote was 44.7 percent in favor of independence and 55.3 percent against.[/spoiler]
