Franciscan University Student Government gave several allocations of money to the Baron Brigade for various upcoming sports events at the FUSG meeting Wednesday.
FUSG allocated $575 to the Volleyball Baron Blast Thursday at 5 p.m. for the purchase of hamburgers and hot dogs, which will be free for students at the event.
The Baron Brigade also received $688.48 for the purchase of T-shirts and a flag that will be used to hype up the crowd at every game the Brigade will be attending.
FUSG allocated $131.56 to the Baron Brigade to pay for shuttles to take students to the Lady Baron’s swim meet at Big Red High School Oct. 30.
FUSG’s total fund spent this semester is $5,369 leaving the contingency to be $11,573.
The Best Dressed awards for this meeting went to senior secretary Emily Adams and junior senator Preston Pelishek.
The next FUSG meeting will be held Wednesday Oct. 27 in the St. Leo room at 11 a.m.
