A space-themed dance attracted students to the courtyard between the Finnegan Fieldhouse and the J.C. Williams Center Friday night.
Hosted by In His Image household, students came dressed in space gear to have a good time with friends.
Kenny Graff, IHI member, was the DJ for the event and kept everyone’s spirits up with his exciting mix of genres and strobe lights.
Attendees were informed there would be a surprise at some point in the evening.
Sophomore Ellie Jambon said, “I love everyone’s fun outfits! The dance has been really fun so far and I can’t wait for the surprise.”
After anticipation from the crowd, the surprise came when sophomore Robbie Martinez intented to IHI halfway through the dance.
Although there was a small crowd, the dance created excitement among household members, especially about their new intent. One highlight for participants was Martinez’s crowd surfing. Another was when senior Nick Miller sprayed his water bottle all over the crowd, dousing everyone and enlivening the mob.
