Franciscan University Student Government discussed reallocation of funds for Young Americans for Freedom (YAF) and for Franciscan University Board Game Association during its weekly, formal meeting Feb. 18.

Student Government discussed Spring Semester Bill 22, which reallocates $700 to YAF for reimbursement for its trip to the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) from Feb. 25 to Feb. 29. The funds from Student Government will cover lodging for the students attending.

YAF has raised $1,200 from its own independent fundraising effort, and each student attending would pay $50. The bill was passed unanimously

The second bill to be passed was a reallocation of $226 to the Franciscan University Board Game Association for refreshments during meetings and the purchase of additional board games. The amount asked was deemed reasonable by Student Government and was passed without any opposition.

In the coming weeks, it can be expected that the suggestion box, which has been a recent goal of Student Government to cultivate student feedback, will be further discussed.
